Where is the hotel located ?

Excellent location: Nice city center, 400 meters from the beaches, boutiques, in an elegant and safe area: see the map on the "access" page; 200 meters from the "Alsace Lorraine" underground tramway stop with a direct link from both airport terminals
The "Nice Ville" train station is 400 meters from the hotel

What boutiques and restaurants are around the hotel?

Restaurants: many of them within walking distance; our concierge will be happy to assist you

Shops: there is a convenience store 200 meters from the hotel

Boutiques and shopping: the Nice Etoile Shopping Mall is 400 meters away, luxury boutiques are 500 meters away, the Galeries Lafayette are 600 meters away

How to book with best conditions - Best price guarantee

The best conditions are on our website, or by mail, or telephone with us: you will have more choices for bedding, contemporary or traditional decor, priority for earlier check in and later check out, possibility to cancel up to 24 hours prior to arrival with no fees, except for advance bookings with a 15% discount which are non amendable, non refundable

If you compare prices on third party websites, be sure you take into account cancellation conditions, deposits and additional costs : added value tax, credit card charges, etc. Eventually send us a scan of the offer you found and we will check it and apply the same rate with better conditions

Presidential suites, family and handicapped rooms are only bookable directly with the hotel

We can only guarantee a specific room when booked directly.

We will need a credit card guarantee, the card has to be in the name of one of the occupants; upon checking in you can decided to pay cash or by credit card. Without a credit card, we shall not be able to check you in

Check in / Check out

Check in is 15hrs if you booked direct with us 16h if you booked through a third party ; if you arrive earlier, we shall of course keep your luggage free of charge and , and, pending availabilities, allocate you a room earlier.
Direct bookings have a priority for early check in.

Check out is at noon if you booked direct with us, 11h if you booked through a third party; late check out might available pending availabilities: check with reception the day prior to your departure; nominal fees will apply.

Reception is open 24/24; for safety, front door is closed during the night, but there is a bell to alert the receptionist.

How can I pay?

We do not accept personal checks, but you can settle by credit cards (American Express, Visa, Master Card, JCB, Union Pay, etc) or cash. The credit card must have the same name on it as one of the guest. We cannot accept payments by a non present person

Wifi ?

Wifi is free in the whole hotel including in the fitness, spa and bar. No access code needed

Parking - garage

Underground garage is available; rate is 25 euros per day per car, it is advisable to book it by sending an email to info@splendid-nice.com.
Entrance is 1,90 meter high
Fully electric cars are charged for free, and there are charging stations including Tesla's

Pets

We welcome small pets with a nominal fee of 10 euros per day, per animal; please let us know when making your reservation.
Pets are not allowed in the spa, pool, jacuzzi, bar and restaurant

Balcony or terrace

"Presidential suites", "Deluxe rooms", "Premium rooms" all have a balcony or terrace

Harmony, Family rooms and suites do not have a balcony

Breakfasts

Full hot buffet breakfasts are served on the 8th floor; continental breakfast in room is also available.
Gluten free breads are available; please let us know of any dietary or religious requirements when making your reservation
A special price for full hot bufffet breakfasts is available for direct bookings : 16 euros per person per day, instead of 19 euros
Take away breakfast is available with advance booking

Exchange and valuables

Reception can exchange most currencies; billing and payments are in Euros
Cash, jewels and valuables must be deposited in the safe of your room

Mini bar

A mini bar is available in your room, you will find 4 complimentary non alcoholic drinks upon arrival.

Accessible rooms

We have 5 rooms suitable for physically handicapped clients, they can only be booked directly with us; access to the lobby is through the spa entrance, lifts open at 90 cm ; the pool and jacuzzi are not accessible.

Outside guests

We welcome outside guests in the spa and the bar; the panoramic pool and the jacuzzi are exclusively for hotel guests.

Beaches

There are 2 types of beaches in Nice: the "public" ones which are free but have no equipment, and the "private" ones which provide mattress, umbrellas, etc which are paying; our guests have a discount at the "Blue Beach" beach located 400 meters from the hotel and we also have a Beach Package.

Children and babies

Children up till 18 years old do not pay the city tax. They cannot book and stay if not accompanied by an adult responsible for them
Full hot buffet breakfast is free for children less than 12 years accompanied by an adult.
Deluxe, Premium and harmony rooms have a maximum capacity of 2 adults or 1 adult and one child, and an additional baby cot.
Family rooms and suites can accommodate up to 4 adults, and an additional baby cot.
Baby cots are free (up to 23 months)
A bottle warmer is available at reception
Our concierge can arrange for a baby sitter

Allergies

Gluten free breads are available for breakfasts: please let us know your needs when you make your reservation

We have synthetic pillows and some rooms have a parquet rather than a carpet.
Please let us know of any allergies when booking.

Boarding pass

Our concierge shall be happy to print it for you: send it by email to concierge@splendid-nice.com, advising your room number and you can pick them up at the desk.

Rental cars

Major rental companies are available at the Nice Airport, and close to the hotel.

How to come / go to the airport

All details are on the "access" page. The easiest, fastest, ecological and cheap way is the tramway

We can arrange for transfers, for arrival transfers we need to know the arrival time and flight number.

Panoramic pool and jacuzzi

Located on the 8th floor of the hotel, free of charge for hotel guests; guests not staying in the hotel do not have access to pool and jacuzzi.
The Jacuzzi is not recommended for pregnant women, and for guests suffering from a heart condition
They are not supervised, and are closed when the bar closes
Proper attire is required, no nudity, no full clothing
The pool is 1,90 meter deep at its highest point, and 2,20 meters at the lowest point

No smoking

The whole hotel is non smoking; cigarettes are allowed on terraces and balconies, however no chichia, no pipe, no drugs
